One of the things we pride ourselves on here at Morinda is the amount of research we put into noni, other ingredients, and our products.  We have a state-of-the-art research facility, top scientific minds on our staff, and 36 completed human trials, the majority of which have been published in peer-reviewed journals.

The following are some of the discoveries about noni, Tahitian Noni Juice, and other Morinda products that have come about because of our human clinical studies, as well as studies by independent groups:

Tahitian Noni Juice is safe – During a one-month human clinical trial, participants were given either varying amounts of Tahitian Noni Juice daily, or a placebo. Various health tests conducted on the participants showed that drinking Tahitian Noni Juice is safe.

Tahitian Noni Juice increases athlete endurance via antioxidant activity – A total of 40 middle-to-long-distance runners participated in a study, in which they either drank Tahitian Noni Juice or a placebo. The results showed that those that drank 100 ml of Tahitian Noni Juice twice a day increased their endurance by 21 percent.

Tahitian Noni Juice assists immune system performance and has antioxidant effects in regular people – A two-month study showed that drinking 300 ml of Tahitian Noni Juice daily boosted immunity and provided significant antioxidant benefits.

Tahitian Noni Juice has a positive influence on free radicals in the blood of smokers – Heavy smokers that drank varying amounts of Tahitian Noni Juice during a one-month study were found to have reduced free radicals in their blood.

Tahitian Noni Juice affects DNA adduct formation in the white blood cells of heavy smokers – Similar to the above study, hundreds of heavy smokers drank varying amounts of Tahitian Noni Juice for a month. It was found that the juice reduced the formation of DNA adducts.

Tahitian Noni Juice supports range of movement in cervical spondylosis patients – Ninety people with cervical spondylosis (arthritis of the neck) found that drinking 30 ml of Tahitian Noni Juice daily could significantly assist with range of movement.

Tahitian Noni Juice supports a healthy transition to menopause – A study found that drinking 4 ounces of Tahitian Noni Juice daily during the transition to menopause improved quality-of-life measurements in women, including improved ability to participate in exercise and other physical tasks, and significant improvement in mental health scores.

Tahitian Noni Juice helps maintain already existing healthy levels of triglycerides and cholesterol – Heavy smokers participated in a study by drinking varying amounts of Tahitian Noni Juice daily for a month. Although the test participants were smokers, the results offered scientific proof that Tahitian Noni Juice helps maintain already existing healthy levels of triglycerides and cholesterol.

Tahitian Noni Juice helps maintain a healthy circulatory system – Drinking 4 ounces of Tahitian Noni Juice daily for a month was shown to benefit already healthy systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

Noni Leaf Serum shields the skin from UV induced erythema – Volunteers applied noni leaf extracts in the form of Noni Leaf Serum to their skin to test protection against UV rays. It was found that it took three times more UV energy to cause erythema (reddening of the skin) when Noni Leaf Serum was applied to the skin than when it wasn’t.

Noni leaves contain healthy flavonoids – Chemical analysis of noni leaves from Tahiti revealed that they contain flavonoids that are known for their health-promoting benefits. These include antioxidant and heart-health benefits.

Noni leaf extract soothes and conditions the skin during wound recovery – A study showed that the noni leaf extract used in Noni Leaf Serum soothes and conditions the skin during the wound-healing process. This was supported by two other independent studies by other research groups.

Superiority of noni leaves sourced from Tahiti – Noni leaves from different regions were collected and analyzed for flavonoid concentration. The leaves from Tahiti had higher flavonoid content than leaves from Tonga, Panama or Saipan.

Superiority of Tahitian Noni Juice quality – A study at the University of Hamburg examined several commercial noni juice products being sold in Europe. Of those products, Tahitian Noni Juice was found to have the highest amount of decatrienoic acid, a notable chemical marker of noni fruit content.

Wide differences of commercial noni juices when compared to Tahitian Noni Juice – Morinda analyzed the mineral content of 177 competing commercial noni juice products. There was a wide variety in the mineral composition of these products. Due to this wide variation, not all noni juice products can be considered to be of the same quality, efficacy and safety as Tahitian Noni Juice which has been the subject of multiple clinical studies.

Noni Seed Oil is rich in essential fatty acid and better than sunflower seed oil – Nutritional analyses of noni seed oil revealed that it is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid. The nutritional profile of noni seed oil is similar to sunflower seed oil, but contains several times more phytosterols.
